New Year -2019

Happy New Year all. My writing challenge this year is to complete my current novel called 'Best Of Friends', a crime novel. The story is about three couples who take an extended weekend to meet up at a holiday resort. Six arrive, five leave. In addition, I have two novels ready to be edited.

How to write crime

Apart from writing from experience, if you happen to have committed crimes or worked as a detective, you can study how to write novels about crime. There's even a book on the topic with the odd title 'How To Write Crime' with contributions from a number of crime writers including Gary Disher (Paydirt,Deathdeal),Minette Walters (The Ice House, The Dark Room)and JR Carroll (Token Soldiers, Tropic of Fear). New publication

The Heirs, a novel about money and family, has now been published on Amazon Kindle. The story relates to one family member having hired a killer to hasten the death of the father to obtain the inheritance. But the original killer doesn't go through with it. Read it to see why.

NaNoWriMo

For the third year running, I’ve entered NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and hope I can produce something worthwhile. I managed to complete the required 50,000 words in the month for 2016 and 2017 but this year will be challenging as I have a lot on my plate.
